Parkinson’s Support Group
Founded in 1991, the CSRA Parkinson Support Group is an all-volunteer-run non-profit 501(c)3 organization serving families affected by Parkinson’s disease in the Central Savannah River Area (CSRA), from Aiken, South Carolina to Louisville, Georgia, centered in Augusta. Our mission: supporting people with Parkinson’s disease, their families, and their care partners in the CSRA. We serve the Parkinson’s community through:
- monthly meetings,
- fellowship opportunities,
- respite care resources,
- awareness events,
- exercise programs designed especially for people with Parkinson’s,
- our monthly newsletter and e-newsletter,
- community partnerships,
- research grants
We strive to bring resources, wellness, and relief to those individuals and families affected by Parkinson’s disease.
