Barnyard buddies came to Brandon Wilde for a surprise petting zoo. Seniors had the chance to pet and cuddle pigs, goats, bunnies, and baby cows. Studies show that animals can reduce loneliness and depression among seniors. During the petting zoo non-verbal seniors even started talking to the animals while they petted them, showing the power that animal therapy can have.
